A.Personal statement

Guodong Huang is a Doctor of Medicine, Chief Physician, Master and post-doctoral tutor. He is also the Secretary of the party branch and Head of the Department of Neurosurgery at the First Affiliated Hospital of Shenzhen University. He is the Director of the residential training base for neurosurgery of the national resident physicians standardized training base (Shenzhen Second People's Hospital); a member of the standing committee of the neuroendoscopist branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association; Vice director of the neurosurgery branch of the Guangdong Medical Doctor Association; and Chairman of the neurosurgeon branch of the Shenzhen Medical Doctor Association.

His main engagements lie in neuroendoscopy and minimally invasive neurosurgery, as well as pituitary tumor and saddle tumor research. He has received funding from several provincial and municipal scientific research funds, with the total funding exceeding 1.02 million yuan. He has published 10, high-level academic papers in international journals (such as World Neurosurgery) as the first or corresponding author.
