A. Personal statement

Dr. Huahua Xiong, Ph.D., is a Master’s tutor that serves as the Deputy Director of the Superficial and Peripheral Vascular Ultrasound Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Ultrasound in Medical Engineering, the Executive Director of the fourth session of the Shenzhen Ultrasound Medical Engineering Society, a committee member of the sixth session of the Shenzhen Medical Association, the Director of the Shenzhen Stroke Association, and as an editorial board member of the 13^th Editorial Committee of the Chinese Journal of Ultrasound Medicine.

Dr Xiong’s primary research interests?are ultrasound diagnostics and the treatment of cardiovascular and superficial diseases. He has obtained funding from the Shenzhen Science and Technology Commission Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cooperation Project, the Shenzhen Science and Technology Commission Science and Technology Program and other research foundations, with the total exceeding 2.2 million yuan. In the past five years, he has published 17 high-level academic papers in international journals and domestic core journals as first author or corresponding author, participated in the compilation of the "Clinical Ultrasound Medicine", "Superficial Ultrasound Medicine", and "Modern Ultrasound Imaging Diagnostics" monographs as the executive editor or editor, held four large-scale study classes, participated in national academic conferences and seminars for lecturers, obtained one utility model patent and supervised?six graduate students.
