Professor Wu is an influential expert in the field of burn rehabilitation, with years of experience in the field He is a doctoral supervisor, Director and Chief Scientist of the Department of Burns and Plastic Surgery at the The Second People’s Hospital of Shenzhen, discipline leader, researcher, and member of the?Burn Surgery Committee of the Chinese Medical Association.?He is also an executive?committee member of the International Society for Burn Injury, and the chief editor of Burns & Trauma. He has directed dozens of national and provincial scientific projects, is a second-place winner of the National?Prize?for?Progress?in?Science?and?Technology, and has also won multiple provincial scientific prizes. He has published over a hundred SCI papers as first or corresponding author and is also a fruitful inventor, holding 25 patents of which some have been introduced to the market.
