A. Personal statement

Shiquan Zhang is a chief physician, professor, doctoral advisor and director of the Department of Orthopedics and Bone Oncology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Shenzhen University (Shenzhen Second People's Hospital), and has been engaged in orthopedics and bone tumors in clinical, teaching and scientific research for more than 30 years.?Dr. Zhang is a leading academic of tumor and bone disease in Shenzhen, the Director of the Teaching and Research section, Shenzhen's Sanming Project Bone Tumor Discipline leader, and a member of the expert committee of Shanghai Jiao Tong University Medical 3D Printing Innovation Research Center. Furthermore, Dr. Zhang takes on social duties for the Bone Oncology Group of the Oncology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, the Bone Tumor Professional Committee of the Chinese Medical Association, the Sarcoma Professional Committee of the China Anti-Cancer Association, the Osteosarcoma Expert Committee of the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology (CSCO). They are the Deputy Director of the Professional Committee, the Deputy Director of the Bone Oncologist Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association, a member of the Standing Committee of the Sarcoma Professional Committee of the Guangdong Anticancer Association, Chairman of the Bone Tumor Professional Committee of the Orthopedic Branch of the Shenzhen Medical Association, and a member of the Bone Tumor Professional Committee of the Shenzhen Anticancer Association.

Dr. Zhang has pioneered the development of bone and soft tissue sarcoma limb salvage and other new technologies in the Shenzhen area, such as autologous bone marrow allografts, and carried out preoperative arteriovenous bone and soft tissue sarcoma earlier in China and the province Limb salvage after combined chemotherapy. They also have experience?in 3D printing special artificial scapula replacements, pelvic giant tumor nail rod semi-pelvic prosthetic replacements, composite artificial blood vessel artificial joint reconstruction limb salvage, combined total femoral replacement and bone cyst percutaneous injection.?They have hosted and participated in more than 10 national, provincial and municipal scientific research projects, trained 14 full-time postgraduate students, published more than 60 SCI and core journal papers, edited and participated in five monographs, won two national patents, and hosted national and provincial high-level bone tumor academic conferences as chairman.
