A. Personal statement

I have trained as both an MD & PhD, and have gained more than 10 years of research experience in the USA. I have a broad research background in cardiovascular pharmacology, molecular biology, neuroscience, prenatal diagnosis and precision medicine. During my career I have co-authored more than 90 SCI research papers and received 24 research grants, including grants from the NIH, AHA and NSFC. At present, the focus of my research is primarily ischemic stroke, birth defects, and tumor precision medicine.
