Xin Du, MD/PhD，Tutor of doctoral candidate, Chief Physician of Hematology. Director of the Department of Hematology and Internal Medicine, The First Affiliated Hospital (Shenzhen Second People’s Hospital) of Shenzhen University, and Director of the Institute of Hematology in Shenzhen.

Dr Du obtained his doctoral degree from Shandong University in China in 1993. He subsequently completed his postdoctoral training at the University of New Mexico Medical Science Center in America in 2001-2003. Dr Du is mainly engaged in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of hematological malignancies, focusing on acute and chronic leukemia, multiple myeloma and lymphoma. His research interests include the molecular mechanisms of blood disorders and target therapy on hematological malignancies. He has chaired two projects of the National and Provincial Natural Science Fund and other research programs, with funds totally approximately 5 million yuan in grants. He has also published more than 20 peer-reviewed papers in journals including Blood. Dr Du has supervised 20 postgraduate students in the last 10 years.
