Introduction: Li Haiying serves as the Director of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Shenzhen University General Hospital, as a Discipline Leader, Chief Physician, Postgraduate Supervisor, and Doctor. He is a well-known pacing electrophysiologist in China. He studied at the St. Thomas’s Hospital in the UK and at the St. George Electrophysiology Center in Germany. He has been engaged in the ablation of complex arrhythmias and pacemaker therapy for >20 years, and has carried out ablations of atrial fibrillation. He is one of only a few physicians in China who can independently carry out ablation of high-difficulty organic ventricular tachycardia combined with an internal and external membrane. In the field of pacing, His-bundle pacing, left bundle branch pacing, ICD and CRT are complex procedures.

Ly Haiying has undertaken and participated in >10 National Natural Science Foundation and provincial and ministerial level projects. He twice won the third prize of the Provincial And Municipal Science And Technology Progress Award. He has published >10 SCI papers and >20 papers included in the CSCD. He has served as a Member of the Special Committee of Cardiac Arrhythmia of the China Biomedical Engineering office; as a pacemaker and electrophysiological trainer of the Ministry of Health; as a member of the Professional Branch of the Cardiac Pacemaker and Electrophysiology of the Guangdong Medical Association of China Medical Association; as a deputy group leader of the Atrial Fibrillation Group; a Deputy Chairman of the Professional Committee of Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing of the Shenzhen Medical Association; and a member of the Standing Committee of the Professional Committee of Cardiovascular Disease of the Shenzhen Medical Association.
