?Tao Wei, Ph.D.,?is a Master tutor and Director of the Department of Neurosurgery, at Shenzhen University General Hospital. Dr. Wei is also a committee member and working secretary of the Chinese Medical Association of Pain; Deputy Head of the Maxillofacial Pain Section of the Chinese Medical Association of Pain; committee member of the Neurophysiological Monitoring Section of the Chinese Medical Association of Neurosurgery; Vice President of the Guangdong Provincial Society of Neuroscience; permanent member of the Chinese Medical Women’s Association of Pain; Vice President of the Shenzhen Medical Doctor Association of Neurosurgery; permanent member of the Shenzhen Medical Association of Neurosurgery; and a permanent member of the Shenzhen Medical Association of Pain.

Dr. Wei is mainly engaged in basic and neurosurgical treatment of functional neuro-disease. Dr. Wei’s research is funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Beijing Natural Science Foundation and the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Commission, with a total funding of >￥700,000. Dr. Wei has published 24 academic papers as first or corresponding author, including five SCI papers.
